Biannual European - Latin American Summer School on Design, Test and Reliability
|April 28-30, 2014, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany|
The Biannual European - Latin American Summer School on Design, Test and Reliability provides training in these three crucial areas of electronic circuits and systems.
The series of BELAS events is organized twice a year during the summers in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Distinguished experts from Europe and Latin America will share their knowledge with PhD and MSc students and postdocs. Participation fee is covered by sponsors. Participants are invited to present their research at the PhD Forum.
This BELAS-EU event 2014 will focus on dependable systems.
The third BELAS is organized by Computer Engineering Group of Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus and will take place at the Leibniz-Institute for innovative Microelectronics IHP in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany on April 28-30, 2014.
The IHP performs research and development in the fields of silicon-based systems, highest-frequency integrated circuits, and technologies for wireless and broadband communication. The focus of research at the institute is oriented towards issues relevant for business, resulting in applications for telecommunications, semiconductor and automotive industries, aerospace, telemedicine, and automation technologies. The institute has developed into an internationally recognized competence center for silicon-germanium technologies.
The IHP provides an important bridge between academia and industry. The Joint Labs with universities and universities of applied science in the Berlin-Brandenburg region have been particularly successful in this cooperation.
